Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.
If you see an error in this information - for example, the prices being charged at the service area are different to this data - then you can report it to the Fuel Finder website:
Opened in August 1991, the Swansea West motorway service area was developed by the BJ Group as part of a wider expansion of the M4 network. The site, which holds the distinction of hosting Wales's first motorway electric vehicle charging hub, has seen various operator changes, transitioning from Rank to Pavilion, then Granada, and finally Moto. Due to its relatively low traffic volume and the proximity of an independent McDonald's, the site has often struggled with commercial growth, resulting in fewer refurbishments compared to other locations. Architecturally, it features a square building designed with an emphasis on compactness, whilst its signage reflects a long-standing discrepancy between the official motorway name and the shortened branding used by its operators.
