Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.

If you see an error in this information - for example, the prices being charged at the service area are different to this data - then you can report it to the Fuel Finder website:

Originally opened as the Brent Knoll picnic area in 1975, the Sedgemoor (North) motorway service station on the M5 was initially designed as a basic, minimalist facility due to concerns over balancing the need for driver rest areas with commercial profitability. Over the years, the site underwent significant expansion to address issues such as vandalism and a lack of proper catering, with temporary facilities introduced by Trusthouse Forte in 1978 before a full-scale service building opened in 1987. Throughout its history, the site has transitioned through various operators and brands, including Motor Chef and THF, before settling as a Welcome Break location. The area has continued to evolve with modern upgrades, such as the introduction of various fast-food outlets and changing hotel branding, while retaining its origins through its characteristically large, open green spaces.

Motorway Services is a Good Stuff website.
