The Ross Spur services, situated at the end of the M50, opened in 1966 as a pair of independent petrol stations before undergoing several ownership changes, most notably under Welcome Break. After suffering from years of neglect and becoming derelict, the site was eventually revitalised by Euro Garages in 2012. The modern facility now features a redeveloped southbound site with various drive-thru outlets and an Asda Express, representing a significant shift from its historical role as a classic, albeit struggling, roadside service area.
