Developed by Welcome Break under Applegreen ownership, the site faced initial delays before opening in early 2023 and has since evolved its retail and charging offerings, including the transition to Little Waitrose and the expansion of electric vehicle infrastructure. The facility has received industry recognition, winning awards for its performance in 2023 and 2024, despite its compact layout and ongoing efforts to balance parking demand.
