Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.
If you see an error in this information - for example, the prices being charged at the service area are different to this data - then you can report it to the Fuel Finder website:
The Grantham North service area, situated at the Gonerby Moor interchange on the A1, originated in 1964 as an independent transport cafรฉ known as Tony's Cafรฉ before evolving into a major modern service station. Over the decades, the site has been managed by several operators, including Trusthouse Forte and Welcome Break, eventually becoming a Moto site. It has undergone numerous transformations, including the addition of a Travelodge, major brand name changes, and recent refurbishments to include extensive electric vehicle charging infrastructure and updated facilities. Notably, the site served as a long-term residence for a retired couple, David and Jean Davidson, whose presence led to one of the hotel rooms being named in their honour, and it continues to serve as an important transit point for road users.
