Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.
If you see an error in this information - for example, the prices being charged at the service area are different to this data - then you can report it to the Fuel Finder website:
Opened in August 1994 by David Bellamy, Durham services is believed to be the first motorway service area developed under the 1992 English planning system designed to encourage smaller sites. Originally a Fina proposal, the site has undergone many changes, including the transition of its hotel from Travel Inn through to Super 8 by Wyndham and the conversion of its Wimpy into Roadchef's first McDonald's drive-thru. The forecourt moved from Fina and Total to Shell in 2016, and recent years have seen substantial investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, including GRIDSERVE and Shell Recharge chargers. Additionally, a nearby Costa Drive Thru at Integra61 serves as a sister site, though traffic leaving the main services is currently restricted from turning right.
