Cardiff West services, which opened in 1990, is a motorway service station situated on the M4 at Junction 33. Originally developed by Rank, the site has changed hands several times over the decades, eventually falling under the operation of Moto. The facility features a range of food outlets, a hotel, and a separate forecourt now operated by Rontec. Over the years, the site has undergone various refurbishments and rebrandings, including the recent addition of a high-power electric vehicle charging hub, and it has historically served as a meeting point for football fans travelling to Cardiff. Despite being one of the quieter services on the network, it remains a notable transit point, albeit one that has received mixed feedback from independent assessors regarding its facilities, pricing, and food quality.

Motorway Services is a Good Stuff website.
