Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.

If you see an error in this information - for example, the prices being charged at the service area are different to this data - then you can report it to the Fuel Finder website:

Cardiff Gate services was originally developed as a private venture to serve the adjacent business park, eventually becoming a full motorway service area under Welcome Break’s management. After multiple planning applications beginning in the late 1980s, the site finally opened in 2000 with a forecourt and amenity building. Over the years, the site has evolved significantly, transitioning from its original branding through various ownership changes, including the closure of the early Little Chef unit and the subsequent conversion of the main building’s facilities to modern brands like Starbucks and KFC. Following a period of ownership by the local business park, Welcome Break acquired the lease in 2007, further cementing the site's role as a hybrid location serving both motorway commuters and the local business community.

Motorway Services is a Good Stuff website.
