Fuel prices and forecourt details are obtained from the UK Government Fuel Finder API. We check for updated prices approximately every ten minutes, although this can be affected by demand on the API.

Annandale Water service station was originally established in 1995 by Blue Boar to offset the loss of trade in Johnstonebridge caused by the opening of the new motorway. The site is distinguished by its "Scandinavian style" design and its environmental focus, having been marketed as a pioneering green service area. Its landscape is notable for a lake created during the excavation of a Mesolithic archaeological site, which is now home to a well-known resident population of geese. Since being acquired by Roadchef in 1998, the facility has seen various refurbishments, including the introduction of new catering brands, the installation of an electric vehicle charging hub, and the expansion of HGV parking. The station continues to be highly regarded, earning the "most recommended" accolade in the 2023 Transport Focus review.
